Dave Brunetti

Dave Brunetti was always going to be an author. He wrote his very first story, a two-page-long Chronicles of Narnia Fan Fic, at the age of eight. In seventh grade, Dave was given an assignment to write a two-page story in the style of ancient Greek mythology. Instead, he turned in an eighteen-page epic. In high school, he branched into science fiction, writing two novels and spending a lot of free time learning about science, history, and psychology so that his stories would be as true to life as possible. In and after college, he continued to write short stories and novellas to improve his skill and keep his goals alive.

Dave's stories are marked by "real" people facing impossible odds, heart-breaking choices, and world-shaking stakes. He loves wrestling with big ideas, sifting through moral ambiguity, and using fiction to seek the truth about our shared human condition.

Dreams of Ithaca is Dave's first professional novel, and was written on-and-off over the course of five years. Future stories will be coming much more quickly now!
