Timothy J. Smith (Tim) was born in Point Pleasant, New Jersey (1959) the youngest of four children. His father Walter V. Smith was born in Trenton, New Jersey (1918), his mother Ruth Jane McTighe was born in New York (1921).

Tim inherited a rich family heritage from both his parents. Some of his ancestors contributed to the formation of the United States of America, while others immigrated through Ellis Island. Many members of his family are serving or have served in the Armed Forces.

His ancestor Andrew Smith (1689-1767) received credit for the naming of Hopewell, NJ in the deed of Cornelius Empson, dated May 20, 1688 documented by Ralph Edge, author of "Pioneers of Old Hopewell".

Thomas Pierce and Mary Huse (Hewes) married June 5, 1728 with family traces to Massachusetts Bay and Water-town around 1630. They contributed to the establishment of American Independence during the War of the Revolution. Private Elijah Travis (1758-1824) was born in Sudbury, Mass and served Captain Cutting and Colonel Horn of the Mass. Regiment.

As a young boy Tim experienced the Wild West while living in Sierra Vista, AZ. He recalls cowboys with six shooters, spurs and chaps, riding horses while working cattle on the open range.

When his family moved to Orleans, France he toured the Louvre, witnessed Paris from the Eiffel Tower, The Arc De Triomphe, and the Champs De Elysee.

Later living in Germany he looked over the Berlin Wall into Eastern Europe, crossed the demilitarized zone, and visited the concentration camp Dachau.

During High School he lived in The Panama Canal Zone. He explored the jungle, visited a leper colony, traversed the canal, and enjoyed the water of Lake Gatun.

Tim experienced life from the Swiss Alps to the depths of an Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile Silo. As a youth he toured a concentration camp, later he visited a leper colony. He has seen the Cliffs of Dover from the English Channel, canoed on the Rhine River, crossed the Atlantic by plane and aboard the USS United States, kayaked around Catalina Island, and surfed in Hawaii. He has viewed America from New York Harbor, the Rainbow Room, and the Sears Tower. Experienced the southwestern desert from a saddle, and much of America (46 States) by automobile. Currently he enjoys riding his motorcycle through the countryside of Georgia where he now calls home.

During his career he served in the Army, worked in management, as a Dental Laboratory Technician, Dental Sales Rep, Dental Implant Regional Manager, small business owner of Moto-Tec-it.com.

Tim was honored to become an Ordained Minister after 20 years of Christian Counseling education, training, and experience in facilitating and overseeing bible study support groups and small group bible studies.

Having lived in different countries, encountering different cultures, traditions, and values, contributed to the formation of his beliefs and convictions. His experiences provided the perspective from which he shares his Judeo-Christian faith and love for America.

Tim gives God all the Glory for His Providence for his faith, family, friends, work, and play.
