Riane Menardi Morrison

Riane Menardi Morrison is a modern quilter and designer making minimal quilts for the modern home. She learned to quilt in 2011 from her grandmother, and when she discovered modern quilts, linen fabric, and sashiko thread, she fell in love and never looked back.

Riane is the author of "Inheritance: Minimal Quilts for the Modern Home" and a coauthor of "Modern Quilts: Designs of the New Century" by the Modern Quilt Guild. Her quilts have been featured in numerous magazines and quilt exhibits, and she teaches and lectures on hand quilting and modern quilt design around the country. Riane lives with her husband, Kevin, and silly pup, Dallas.
