A.L.Green-Williams was born in Los Angeles, California. She is the youngest of six older siblings, in which three has passed on. Her mother was born in Mississippi, and her father was born in Louisiana, in which both are in their awesome eighties. A.L. currently resides in Washington with her husband Tony. She loves to draw, paint, photography, and writing. A.L. is an ordained minister and loves helping people. She has also worked in aerospace for over 32 years. A.L. says that she will be on television acting one day. "I am fulfilling my lifelong dreams" are her exact words. She holds a BS in Human Services, and a MS in Justice and Security. A.L. is inspired by her granddaughter to write more children's books, and later on maybe a novel or two. She once stood in line for a couple of hours at her mentor's book signing, in which Dr. Maya Angelou wasn't aware of that fact. "It was an amazing experience, one that I will never forget" she says. As a new author, she hope's that everyone understands that there is story inside of them, and not to take it to the grave, but to share it with the world. A.L. believes that someone, somewhere will be touched or moved in some way by what we share.
