Cheri Annice Umbaugh

Cheri Annice Umbaugh was born and raised in the "Sunshine State" of Florida. From the time Cheri was a little girl she loved to read and write. She especially loved to write poems and songs, but had always only shared her works with those who are very close to her. Literature was not her only love though. Cheri was very gifted in the subjects of math and science as well, which may have played a role in how she ended up working in the medical field. She began her medical career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and quickly realized her love for helping others. After she finished her Associate in Arts degree (AA), she earned her Associate in Science degree (AS) and began working as a Registered Nurse. Cheri loved being a nurse and again wanted to advance her career even further. This led her to getting her Bachelor in Science and Nursing degree (BSN), and subsequently her Masters in Science and Nursing degree (MSN). She is currently practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and is loving every minute of it. Cheri told herself that after she finished her Master's degree she would spend the time to publish her first book of poems, and share her "hidden" talent with the world. She self published her first book titled "Love: A Book of Poems" in December 2018. Cheri is also a full time mother, who loves to dance, travel, read, cook, and live life to the fullest.
