Sally Townsend

Sally was born and brought up in Warwickshire with her twin brother. She had an early brush with fame when the pair were photographed in a Bendix twin-tub washing-machine for an advert which appeared on large billboards throughout the UK.

Proud mother of two talented children, Sally now lives in Dorset with her husband Julian. Though Last Tango in Carcassonne is her debut novel, she began writing a blog during the years when she was based in France.

Sally runs a preloved clothing shop in the market town of Bridport. She is passionate about recycling and sustainable clothing. As a former lifeguard she has rediscovered the beauty and benefits of regular swimming too!
