Alan Welch

Alan Welch is the Canadian author of the Jeb Cassidy Western Adventure series. He lives with his family in the Great White North where the woods teem with wildlife – bears, deer, wolves, coyotes, moose, raccoons, beaver, otters, owls, herons, etc. He was raised on a diet of Westerns in book, movie and television formats, is knowledgeable about the history of the Old West, has ridden horses all his life and shoots handguns as a hobby. His books are carefully researched and as historically accurate as possible; he delights in incorporating real events, places and people into his fictional narratives.

After a long and successful career in Information Technology he turned to writing books.. He loves rock music, plays bass guitar and has been writing lyrics for rock songs for most of his adult life. He also writes narrative poetry for light relief, some of which has been published.
