Laura B. Young

Laura was born on a small island off the coast of Newfoundland. Leaving there at 8 when her father died and her mother became seriously ill, she spent many years in an Orphanage. Married, and divorced after 13 years, becoming a single mom with two daughters. The road to becoming a psychotherapist, was not a smooth one. Life is often messy, and "I was not spared". It took a mountain of determination and years of going to the University at night.

Laura says she is much like the commercial that says "I know a thing or two because, I have seen a thing or two". Really it is because I've have been "through" a thing or two. Providing a template that works, she takes women from feeling helpless to feeling worthy of all good things. With her guidance, your journey does not have to take a long time.

Laura is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT. Clinical Hypnotherapist, CCH. Self-Help Author as well as Certified Coach in The Law of Attraction. Drawing on thirty years of Clinical Experience, she specialize in Women’s Concerns, Grief Resolution, Relationship Struggles, Challenges of Life Transitions.She established Life Resource Center, her Private Practice in 1992.

She is passionate about sharing what she has learned with women who are struggling on any step of the stairs. She says, that women as a rule do not value themselves nearly enough: thus do not claim their true Feminine Power. She asks women to reach up, reach out, to stand and be counted.
