Diane Stephenson

Diane Stephenson was born in 1945 just before the end of WWll in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. She graduated from High School Grade 13 and entered the Brantford General Hospital School of Nursing. She changed her career choice to become a graphic artist and worked in London, Ontario for 15 years in that field. Losing her job because of sickness, she eventually opened her own home-based business making crafts. After some years she became interested in network marketing and sold natural supplements among other things. She loves photography and takes her camera with her everywhere she goes. Diane is a born-again Christian and involved in an intercessory ministry in her church, The Gathering Place and Revival Centre. Diane loves to laugh, even if it is at herself. One funny incident occurred about 25 years ago when she took a step back only to find there was nothing to put her foot on. She toppled backwards off the platform at church just before the service was to begin. Fortunately she was not injured, and was teased about it for months. Diane started writing in the late 80s, and has written for children and adults, fiction and non-fiction, usually with a Christian theme running through it. She has had various articles and a short story published in magazines, and won first prize in a creative non-fiction contest with her story, "Three Little Scallywags". Her first novel, "Look for the Rainbows A Journey of Spirit and Heart" went through a number of transitions before she published it towards the end of 2018. At the same time she published "Shadows in My Valley", an account of a dark time she experienced in her spiritual walk. She is preparing other books to be published in the coming year.
