Malik Carey CEO

Malik Carey is the founder and CEO of Family Healing Center in Livingston New Jersey, a full-service therapy clinic serving individuals and families in Northern New Jersey. Malik brings an earnest passion for wellness and commitment in offering the highest quality of professional health care to families in need. His mission is simple…to assist families in fostering and maintaining sustained levels of mental and emotional health through a variety of individual and group counseling methods. Malik personally Life Coaches and mentors entrepreneurs, athletes and men from all walks of life.

Malik holds a MS in Organizational Leadership from Nyack College and a B.S. in Sports Management and a minor in Religious Studies from Seton Hall University. He is also the former C.O.O. and Vice President of The K.I.N.G. Movement, a National Men’s Ministry that he helped create alongside Chris Broussard. Malik has also been involved in an Overcomer’s Program which is a 12-Step Christian-Based Empowerment group that is designed to promote and maintain disengagement from substance abuse and other maladaptive addictions.

Malik’s volunteer efforts are deeply rooted in New Jersey’s West Orange community where he is a highly respected mentor for young adults. Bethany Church, The Bethany Center of Champions and Daytop Treatment Facility are just a few of the faith-based organizations to which he graciously lent his time and efforts. He is also a missionary and has traveled to Nicaragua to work with pastors and leaders to empower their communities.

In his spare time Malik loves to play golf and basketball.

Most of all he loves traveling and spending time with his beautiful wife Deidra and his son London.
