Tom Almy

Now retired, Tom was employed as an Electrical Engineer for 43 years and taught (part-time) Electrical Engineering courses for 25 years at Oregon Tech in Portland. He had written textbooks about the 68HC12 and 68HCS12 microcontrollers, recently completed a small book about designing a PDP-8 clone, and extensive books about the Arduino Uno/Nano/Mega and the Nano Every. Tom holds eleven patents, most pertaining to digital and analog circuit design. He received a MSEE degree from Stanford University and a BS with Distinction in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
