Meredith Moore Crosby

If you want to be inspired by the impact you can have inside and outside of corporate America, meet Meredith Moore Crosby. After leading brand and reputation communications for McDonald's, 3M and Comcast, Meredith creates opportunities for inclusion through programs and partnerships. As president of Leverette Weekes, Meredith helps corporations authentically connect with resources to support their development and advance women in the workplace. Based in the Twin Cities, Meredith leverages her experience and network to share lessons to help everyone advance at work in “Getting Unstuck: A Guide to Moving Your Career Forward.”



Meredith’s career started in finance, and she found herself writing for the chief operations officer for McDonald’s USA. Meredith supported the most diverse senior leadership in the history of McDonald’s including the historical rise of the first African American CEO. During her time at the largest fast-food restaurant in the world, Meredith led award-winning global initiatives and external brand engagement resulting in McDonald’s recognition as a diversity leader and talent developer.

Meredith’s journey rising the ranks to become the youngest director at McDonald’s is featured in “Successful Women Think Differently,” by Valorie Burton and a variety of publications, including Diversity Woman magazine. She has been recognized as one of the top 30 young leaders by Ebony magazine and is the youngest recipient of Howard University’s global visionary award. She has also been recognized by the Minneapolis- St. Paul Business Journal as a recipient of the publication’s annual “40 Under 40 Awards.”

An advocate for access to education, Meredith holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Howard University and a master’s of science in managerial communications from Northwestern University. Meredith is a member of the International Coaching Federation and Public Relations Society of America. She shares her insights for Forbes.com readers as a member of the Forbes Coaching Council. Outside of work, Meredith is on the national governing board of Jeremiah Program, a national nonprofit supporting single moms with safe, affordable housing, career-track education, and their children high-quality early childhood education. During her free time, she enjoys reading, playing with her two young sons and connecting with friends on Instagram.

Meredith is married to her high school sweetheart, Brian and they are raising their sons in Minnesota.
