Kristin Dewane

Kristin Dewane is not going to start out by referring to herself in the third person, at least after the first sentence. I am writing this bio myself so I will not be pretentious about it.

I am me. I am unpretentious (obviously) and not a professional author. Without the help of spell check I would have spelled pretentious wrong. I am a homemaker and homeschooling mom who knows more about how to make a high school transcript than a resume. My most impressive party trick is to quote at length from Dr. Suess books. I would wear jeans and tennis shoes to every social event if I thought I could get away with it. I have four kids and one granddaughter and have been married to my best friend for almost thirty years.

I write books as a hobby and because once my great-grandmother said she liked my story about sheep. She never wore jeans or tennis shoes and only wrote poetry but I like to think she saw something of herself in her grubby-cheeked progeny. To be a published author and share my work has been a life-long dream. I owe a great debt of thanks to God and my readers for making it come true. So thanks!
