A J Freer lives in the UK with her lovely family and writes children's fiction for age 7 to12 years. She grew up an avid reader of Enid Blyton’s mysteries and Agatha Christie books, hence all her novels include oodles of mystery, adventure and humour. She loves chocolate, coffee and plots - all at the same time!

She used to be a software developer and has a Master’s degree in Computing but now she has her dream job - dreaming up stories and is a graduate of the highly regarded Golden Egg Academy for children’s authors.
