Paria Shirkhani was born in Kahnooj, a small town in Kerman province located in south of Iran. Her adulthood is identified as a great childhood. She was raised and grew up in a garden of palm, orange and pomegranate trees as a child albeit the garden does not exist anymore. Ever since she remembers, she loved to write and she did so. Despite the fact that due to censorship and limitations opposed to writers in Iran, none of her works have been published so far. Literature, history and philosophy are her particular subjects of interest. Paria is the girl who lived in wilderness along with her family; her mother, brothers, aunts, uncles and grandparents. Paria’s grandmother taught her many fables and folk stories. Even though grandmother is no longer with Paria in this world, the stars and the moon under which Paria was amused and inspired with her grandmothers’ stories still shine upon her. Nevertheless, Paria did not give up on writing and her collection of works will be published in close future.
