JT Howes prefers reading to watching TV or movies, but can often be found with a game controller in her hands. She won't remember what she did at work last week but can still recite the prophecy from Susan Cooper's Dark is Rising series at a moment's notice and usually without prompting.

She writes to amuse herself - or perhaps more accurately to amuse her muse. Born in Texas, she has resided in the Western United States for most of her life and loves mountains best of all.
