Godalming Writers Group

Godalming Writers’ Group / Surrey Hills Writers is, not surprisingly, a group of local writers from the Godalming area in the Surrey Hills. One of the first towns to have electric public street lighting. The birthplace of Jack Phillips, telegrapher on the Titanic. The home of Mary Tofts who claimed to give birth to rabbits. (These are all subjects of stories in the books).

Well they have just produced their fifth book of short stories: Tales from the Surrey Hills 2. Subjects in this one include Tales about Puddles, Snakes, Cottages, Time, Vicars, Weddings, Death, Toads, Dorks, Fire, Dogs & all are Tickety-Boo.
