Greg Moore

Greg Moore is a 25-year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency where he spent his government career developing devices and concepts for use in Agency operations. He is a former Chief Scientist of the Agency’s research office and a former Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Intelligence Community Research and Development.

Before joining the Agency, he held faculty positions at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and the Pennsylvania State University, teaching and doing research in materials science. Before his academic career, he was in industrial research with Masonite Corporation, a manufacturer of building supply products for residential and commercial use.

In retirement, he did a complete turnaround and became a part-time writer and farmer. He lives on a small ranch in Southeastern Colorado where he experiments with growing food in arid high-desert environments. When he need a break, he heads for the mountains to fish or photograph the night sky. He's had a little success getting his photos published and a whole lot of success catching fish.
