George C. Duke

George C Duke was born in Georgiana Alabama and grew up in the Pensacola Florida area. Later he became a Police Officer on the Pensacola Police Department. While in the US Air Force stationed on the Chelveston Air Force Base near Wellingborough England, he met and later married Carol Ann Gregory. Carol had never heard of the Pentecostal faith but soon became one through the new birth which she received in 1962. In 1964 George was born again in the Apostolic Church in Ensley Florida. Later he was called into the ministry and attended Bible College at Texas Bible College in Houston, Texas. While in college he and Carol pioneered the church in Galveston, Texas. In 1972 he was appointed as a missionary to the British Isles where he pioneered Apostolic Churches in High Wycombe, Cardiff Wales, Lydney, Oxford, England, Newmarket, and in Falkirk Scotland. In 1985 they returned to the USA and Pastored the Apostolic Christian Tabernacle in Fort Waltyon Beach, Florida. Married for over 62 years they have retired and live in Choctaw Beach, Florida.
