A poet, artist and winner of the 2023 International Reuel Prize for Poetry, Smeetha Bhoumik is the founding editor of Yugen Quest Review, and founder of the WE literary community (2016). A delegate at the Panorama International Literature Festival 2024, she is Chief Editor of 'EquiVerse Space - A Sound Home in Words', the inaugural creative writing anthology from WE (2018).
Smeetha's poetry features in the Lunar Codex designed by Dr. Samuel Peralta, as part of the Polaris Trilogy curated by Lead Editor Joyce Brinkman (Editors Dr. Joe Heithaus, Jessica Reeds). The Lunar Codex, conceptualised and spearheaded by Dr. Samuel Peralta - a visionary physicist, best-selling author, entrepreneur & storyteller; is a digital archive of art, poetry, music & film, that carries the works of artists & poets worldwide. It reached the moon in Intuitive Machine's Odysseus at the Moon’s South Pole in Feb 22, 2024.
