James W. Berg

James W. Berg was born in Kearney, Nebraska (1975). Ever since he could put pencil to paper he loved to write and make up stories and homemade comic books. He grew up playing sports & later played the trumpet in high school & the Cornhusker Marching Band. He never gave up his passion for writing as he wrote short stories and later spent several years writing superhero fan fiction for various sites. He took a break from the fan fiction to focus back on his novel. Now, after seventeen years, he finally finished his first book, in which he hopes to be the first of many in the Books of Bergonia series. He currently resides Lincoln, NE with his husband, son and two wonderful dogs. They live near his mom, who is his number one fan.
