SANE ENOUGH TO KNOW SHE’S CRAZY is a fictional story, inspired by my experiences with schizoaffective disorder.

Faith, family, and friends got me through some very dark times. I felt like I owed it to my loved ones to find a purpose in this illness, but I couldn’t. There’s too much I didn’t understand, and I couldn’t allow my demons the power to define me. Instead, I sought purpose in myself. Writing has been my attempt to rise above the battle and claim that purpose.

I pray this book, through its existence and content, will speak to people in ways they need to hear. And I pray for strength in all of our purposes.

Following publication of my first book, my writing shifted to stories more suited for little ones. Picture books are a fun way to connect with children. They can provide opportunities to share lessons and to ease into important conversations. These picture books were also inspired by real life, and written with hope that their messages will reach readers in meaningful ways.
