Roberto Bernal

Roberto Bernal is an executive coach with the Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential from the International Coach Federation (ICF)—the highest level in the profession—and has spent over two decades helping entrepreneurs and leaders in Latin America grow by unlocking their full potential through the development of the skills that such growth demands.

His journey began with entrepreneurship. In 2001, he participated in the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development's (UNCTAD) Empretec program to develop his own entrepreneurial skills; the experience impacted him so profoundly that he became the program's first Master Trainer in Panama and director of its foundation. Since then, he has worked with more than 3,000 entrepreneurs in the region.

It was these same entrepreneurs who repeatedly sought his coaching. In 2005, he became a certified coach with Joseph O'Connor of the International Coaching Community (ICC)—his alma mater—where he also became a Master Trainer. Today, he has trained more than 1,000 professional coaches in Latin America.

He holds a Master's degree in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) from the University of Santa Cruz (California), is an Associate Certified Meta-Coach (ACMC), and a Neuro-Semantics Trainer with the Meta-Coaching Foundation. He is also certified in Generative Leadership by the Generative Leadership Institute and is a certified facilitator of Everything DiSC Workplace.

In 2017, he earned his ICF credential and the organization's endorsement to certify coaches using his proprietary method, Coaching DiRECTO. Years later, he achieved the MCC credential.

He is the founding president of the Panama Coaching Association and the author of *Taxi para el éxito*, *95 Octanos*, and *Rutas del Cambio*.

He is Panamanian, married to Anabella, and the father of two daughters, Anna Gabriela and Marianna Isabella.
