Joyce Matthews Hampton

Joyce Matthews Hampton is a writer based in WV where she lives with her husband, Chuck and their spoiled pup, Gracie. When she isn't writing, she may be cycling, crafting or spending time with family, especially her wonderful grandsons. Joyce often refers to her family as the light of her life.

She is a 1984 graduate of Fairmont State University with a BA in Elementary Education. In 1993 she earned an MA in Literacy Education.

Her writing has also appeared in Gravel Literary magazine and,Heart Wood Literary magazine. Joyce is active in local writers groups, events and conferences.
