I live in a small village just south of Auckland, New Zealand. It is snuggled into the rich green countryside, about a five minute walk from the sea. It's a place for beach walks, swims and bare feet. A place for kids, grand kids and animals. Like Sam, the little white dog from next door, who arrives daily for a chat and a scratch and Martha, the snooty cat from up the road, who spends most of her days relaxing on our rubbish bin. She will sit there for hours, looking down her long nose and fixing her blue eyes haughtily on anyone who dares to interrupt her thoughts.
It's a very special place. A place to dream.
