Wu Song was born into the Jianghu and has been wandering its metaphorical world ever since; possesses more than three decades of martial arts and combat sports training and experience. He is fluent in several Chinese styles of Kung Fu, Western Boxing, Muay Thai, Penchak Silat, Judo, Catch Wrestling, Filipino Martial Arts, Bujinkan budo taijutsu, Ch’en style Taichi Chuan and 85 Movements Yang Style. He has worked in Law Enforcement and Military, and is trilingual.
Even today he finds it difficult to break from traditional attitudes that dominated the martial arts, and is loathe to part with knowledge to outsiders he does not call his brothers or sons. He has realized a change of heart after steeping in and contemplating his Daoist and Buddhist studies for nearly a decade, and has decided to pass on his knowledge to be accessible for all. The reader feels that every technique and word was passed from master to master, its wisdom and idiosyncrasy preserved in text enriched from his hybrid training in both Eastern and Western writing styles.
