Richard A. Davis

Richard Davis is a Jean G. Blehart Distinguished Professor and Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Minnesota Duluth. He received his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University and Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara.

He has nearly three decades experience teaching computational methods, process modeling, and simulation.

His current teaching and research interests include process modeling and simulation, mineral processing, energy conversion, solar thermal chemical reactor design and control, air pollution minimization and control, chemical process safety, and environmental management.
