Mike Sizemore

Mike Sizemore grew up reading everything he could get his hands but British comic 2000AD and an inherited love of Westerns set him on a path that eventually lead to a Masters Degree in Literature and a life-long attachment to genre fiction and movies. His habit of throwing crazy ideas together eventually took him to Hollywood where his short for an Ocean's Eleven-in-space adventure Slingers created enough interest to earn itself the tagline of ‘the greatest TV show never made’. Since then he has become an award-winning creator and WGA writer known for acclaimed web series, short stories, short movies and comic books along with the hit London stage adaptation of Howl’s Moving Castle. He writes a new weekly short story for his newsletter, Midnight Quatermass and when he’s not up all night thinking of new ways for characters, robots, spaceships, monsters and planets to explode he’s hanging with his long-suffering partner, Jess, and his very favourite creations, Connor and Jaime.
