Joe Behm

Joe Behm is a published author of historical murder mysteries driven by the art of investigation and the human stories behind crime. His debut novel, DROP DEAD, introduces the Nick Sterling and Zoey Lassiter Mystery series, followed by RED HOUNDS, and soon to be published, HATBOX MYSTERY.

Set between the 1930s and early 1950s in California and Wisconsin, his work draws on the atmosphere of WWII, early radio, the tensions of anti-communist investigations, and the tragic consequences of intolerance to craft mysteries in which truth, justice, and conscience collide.

Raised in Northern California and now living in North Carolina, Behm brings a lifetime of perspective to stories that explore not only how crimes are solved, but why they happen.
