R. A. Powell

R.A. Powell is a children's author who loves creating family adventure stories that are full of heart and packed with memorable characters.

Originally from Hartlepool and now based in Hertfordshire, R.A. Powell still has a day job and writes his books on his phone during his daily commute into London. His writing influences are a combination of Roald Dahl, C.J. Sansom, Carolyn Keene; mixed with passions and experiences in his life; music, volunteering, charity, politics, running marathons; all with a heavy dose of references to classic 80's and 90's films.

R.A Powell was formerly lead singer of Cinemawave (available on Spotify) and is a super proud husband to his wife and father to his son and two daughters.
