Irma Grant

Irma Grant is an illustrator and writer. She was born and raised in the Netherlands, lived in Canada and Sweden, and studied in France before moving to the United States of America.

Irma Grant has traveled extensively in China and Asia and loves visiting far away places that are pristine and untouched by outside influences. While backpacking around the world, she kept an artistic journal of the people and places that inspired her. Visiting temples and churches, sleeping in palaces and mud huts, walking though deserts and rain forests, all kindled her desire to capture the experience in unforgettable images and stories. Documenting her travels through artistic representations inspired her to start pursuing art and writing at a professional level.

Multicultural and nature themes dominate her art and writing. She lives with her husband and their two daughters near San Francisco, California.
