Meredith Walters is an award-winning author and coach who has spent decades discovering her wild side, reconnecting with nature, and sharing its power to heal us and our world. Her novel, This Animal Body, won the 2025 Nautilus Book Awards (Large Publisher/Large Hybrid category), the 2024 American Fiction Awards (Coming-of-Age category), and the 2024 Readers' Favorite Book Awards (Fiction-Animals category).
Drawing on the many things she's learned from the wise beings of the natural world as well as her decades of experience with anxiety and depression, Meredith's work has appeared in Eden Magazine, Healthy Aging Magazine, Tiny Buddha, elephant journal, the Good Men Project, and more.
As a career coach, Meredith has fourteen years of experience helping hundreds of clients find their path by tapping into the wisdom of their bodies, reconnecting with their true nature, and rediscovering their power, passion, and purpose.
She now lives in Atlanta with her husband and small flock of eccentric, beloved chickens. She continues to write stories about the animals and other magic she finds on her frequent wanders through the woods.
