Claudia Randolph was born in Port Arthur, Texas and spent her formative years in Norfolk and Newport News, Virginia. Her versatile career included cosmetology/hairdressing and working in the Shipyard at Newport News as an insulator. Marriage brought her to Northeast Tennessee and with it, an opportunity to redefine her career. She followed her heart and the desire to help others…she chose nursing. Claudia began as a Licensed Practical Nurse, going on to continue her studies obtaining her Associate then Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, graduating with top honors in all three. She also has been certified as a Legal Nurse Consultant. During her schooling, she worked in a private Nursing Home, followed by several years in an Internal Medicine office until the practice closed. She spent the rest of her 30+ career years in Emergency Room care, where she excelled in high-adrenalin situations.
In 2009 Claudia accepted the position of Parish Nurse for the Jonesborough (TN) United Methodist Church and became very active in other areas of the church as well until caring for her aging parents became a priority. She has remained a very involved member of the church in Jonesborough.
Raising, breeding, and showing Cavalier King Charles Spaniels became another love in her life and one she shares with her husband, Johnny, in their historic home in downtown Jonesborough, the oldest town in Tennessee and the Storytelling Capital of the World.
