While I am a full-time consultant, I am now also writing novels in the genre of "Action Fiction". My work focuses on highlighting security issues related to India. The intention is to make the authorities address these issues. I am currently focused on the Khalistan issue and am writing stories around it. In the future, I may also write novels on Kashmir, Naxals, and the North East insurgencies.

I like stories where the characters have been shaped by pain. This adds depth and context. My stories will always have elements of cross-border terrorism. I also like revenge as a theme as it goes well with the idea of justice. I am particularly interested in long-term peace in the South Asia region. Hence, my novels are based on an analysis of 'what could go wrong' with lesser focus on 'what needs to be done'. I will pick up the latter in an academic paper if needed.

I make sure that the plot is fast-paced and exciting. My target is that a reader should be able to finish my novel in a 2 hour read. My novels typically have good roots in history, religion, and cultural beliefs. The reader should enjoy the story and also get an enhanced view of a world relatively unknown to them.
