Abe Khan

Abe Khan made his debut when two of his manuscripts, “An Unforgettable Encounter” and “Reflections on Phases of Life,” were published in Seasons of Life, an anthology by Writing at the Ledges, In his article published in the Lansing State Journal's March 20, 2011 issue, Ray Walsh depicted Abe's stories as, “... thought-provoking.”

Abe's work appeared again in Voices from the Ledges, another anthology by Writing at the Ledges. Abe's writings comprised seven pieces. They included the opening chapter of his memoir, “A Way of Life Vanished,” three poems, one funny story, a prayer for his daughter, Sophie, and a true tale. The Grand Ledge Independent described A Way of Life Vanished as, “... the heart-wrenching chronicle of the author's family's struggles to escape, to survive, and to narrowly break away from death against the backdrop of India's partition into two countries—India and Pakistan.”

The third anthology Promptly Speaking includes three of Abe's writings, “The Perilous Action and an Unexpected Outcome,” “Innocent Dreams,” and “Break with the Past and Move On.”

Abe recently authored his 337-page memoir, I Keep Laughing. It is now available at Amazon both as a paperback and an eBook.
