Martha Abbey Miller

Martha Abbey Miller wrote Hope Personified: Frances Maschal Landers from the heart. Her first mission trip to Haiti in 1999 introduced Martha to the miraculous story this book chronicles. Since her parents and grandparents were writers, genealogists, journalists, and poets, it’s no wonder Martha’s bookshelves are lined with personal journals, business writing, and unpublished vignettes. After a first career in communications management, a second in the nonprofit sector, and a third as a dramatist of original one-woman shows, Martha now enjoys writing longer works. In 2018, she co-authored with Esther Bleuel Getting Unstuck: Experience the Joy of Finishing Strong. Martha’s mission has long been to bring out the best in others, and from her outdoor garden in southern California, she delights in blending her passions and perspectives through writing.
