Richard Richardson

Richard Richardson was born in the beautiful Northeastern corner of Washington State just a few miles from the Idaho State line and a few tens of miles from the Canadian border. He grew up in the days of culture shaking advances in science, technology and exploration, and worldwide upheavals in society, politics, war and protest. In this quiet corner of his home State, a few miles from a small country town, beside a sometime serene, sometimes frenetic, resort lake, on a small forested farm, in the company of cats and a dog, he found time to think and the freedom to be himself even while he kept busy milking cows, feeding chickens, and tending to numerous other chores. His father was an avid hunter and angler, and consequently, Richard also spent a great deal of time camping, fishing, hunting and exploring the wilderness. At an early age he developed a keen interest in the currents and eddies of human cultures, past, present and future, as well as in the sciences, technology, music, literature and the other arts. Richard went on to live in Seattle and then in a very small town in the Alaskan Arctic wilderness. He currently lives among the sand and sage brush of Oregon’s High Desert with his wife and their little black cat, Rodi.

Just a note about the books: "Vignettes And Vinaigrettes", volumes 1, 2 and 3 is the first publishing of my poems and short prose in 2018. "This Book Will Make You Blind" volumes 1, 2 and 3 are the 2nd publishing (ie "edition") and contains everything in the volumes of "Vignettes..." PLUS what I wrote from 2018 to 2021 AND also more of my humorous cartoon art. Something to keep in mind.
