Peggy Downs

Peggy Downs, MA, GPC, is a grant writing expert and education consultant with more than 25 years of experience supporting K–12 schools and education nonprofits. A former teacher, charter school founder, and board member, she has helped launch five successful charter schools across two states.

As the founder of Granting Your Vision, Peggy partners with school leaders to design fundable programs and secure strategic funding that supports long-term growth. Her work focuses on clarity, alignment, and sustainability—helping schools move beyond one-time grants to build lasting capacity.

Peggy holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and is a Certified Grant Professional (GPC), a credential that reflects both proven results and high ethical standards in the field.
