M. D. Veritas

As a lover of art, poetry and song over the years, 2 undergrad liberal arts and general studies in visual art, film and writing degrees, graduate degree in counseling and graduate work in MFA poetry program and art history totaling an extra 30 credits before going independent, I've retired from a career as a certified, 25 year art teacher in New Orleans to resume writing full time under a pen name as an owner of Bon Ton Republic Publications in my building on Magazine St., New Orleans, an excellent base of operations for any artistic pursuits. Over the years, since 2001, my numerous poetry entries and essays have placed over a dozen times in the finals of the Pirate's Alley Faulkner Society Literary Contest. From a vast collection of art images and photos over the past 40 years of serious pursuits in visual, written and musical arts (with a generous sample of song demos on youtube) after numerous combined collections, I am publishing several refined efforts at this time.
