Brian W. Casey

I was born in Falls City, Nebraska in 1954. It was a good era to grow up in. Many of my stories, including my most recent novel, "Necessary Sin," reflect some of those surroundings. My blog site, https://allpartofgrowingup.com/ is an ongoing collection of stories, "mostly true," of growing up, making mistakes and wishing I never had to grow up. Some of those stories found their way into first person short stories published by various newspapers. I also spent a year as stringer for a newspaper writing the weekly bowling scores. I found a way to turn the scores into stories which eventually led the editor to move on to more "conventional reporting."

"Necessary Sin" is my first full length story. It was written to entertain and at the same time give a small glimpse into the struggles of one man with God, his temptations and the people he loves.
