ANDRES KABEL

In my former life I was an actuary with three decades of global management experience. Now aged 70, I’m working harder than ever and relishing doing what I wish I’d done from the start.

I began by writing short stories, mostly about middle-aged men in the corporate world (surprise, surprise), and had a modicum of success. My first foray into the world of books was DEADLY INVESTMENT and DEADLY DAY TRADING, the first two in the Gentle & Tusk series.

My preoccupation over recent years, an “everyperson” history of nuclear energy, inches closer to fruition. The first volume in a history trilogy will be published later this year. Check out Nuclear Power History, the trilogy’s website, which will shortly be revised to include an informative newsletter, news, and additional resources.

Writing provides much of the meaning in my life but I am also an ardent reader and get excited by modern film. My wife and I hike often and we’re ardent birdwatchers. An activist in several periods of my life, my current interest is climate change. Philosophically, I am a rational humanist. I jog.

Touch base with me at by heading to my author website and emailing. Track down my various newsletters (you’ll love them!) and to sign up for my authorly newsletter.
