My name is Veronica Lomas. I currently live in a town called in Parmelia, Western Australia. I have in the past lived in Mt. Newman, Port Hedland, Girrawheen and then Parmelia. I am a resident of Australia since 1971. I moved to Australia from England from a town called Exmouth, Devonshire, England. I grew up with my sister, Patricia in a town called Orphington, Kent, till my parents moved to Exmouth, which is south Devon. My mother had tuberculosis and was in and out of hospital, so my grandmother came and lived with us, while my father was working up in London travelling daily up and back on the train. I am now a naturalised Australian citizen, but do hold 2 passports to travel. An Australian passport and an English passport. I was a market researcher for 20 years working in around in Perth, Western Australia, North and South of the river located in Perth. I keep company with 3 cats, a seal-point Siamese, a black moggy cat, and a ginger ninja whom I rescued from the local Ventinary Clinic in Parmelia. The story of The Sunshine Land was written over 30 years ago, but wasn't published until 2017.
