Lisa Unger

Lisa was born and raised in the quaint and quiet town of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. As the daughter of the founders of Word of Deliverance (WOD) Church, Lisa began in ministry as a youth pastor, helping to establish an annual youth camp in 1981 that continues to this day. In January of 2004, Lisa became the associate pastor of WOD Church, and in 2007 became the senior pastor after the retirement of her parents.

Though Pastor Lisa stands front and center at WOD Church, her husband Dan operates behind the scenes, ministering through master carpentry and construction. They have been married for more than 35 years and are partners in life and ministry. Lisa and Dan have two married daughters and four adorable grandchildren. She also works as an Early Childhood Educator.
