Jason Shepherd

Jason spent over a decade with the United States Secret Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. During his career he was assigned to the White House in protective operations, as a Firearms Instructor at the US Secret Service Academy, and gathered intelligence in support of counter-terrorism and counter-intelligence investigations for the FBI. He has since been called to the wilds of Alaska, where he ministers with his lovely wife and 4 boys. He now spends an inappropriate amount of time and money maintaining his personal armory, continuing to pass on his training and love of shooting. The remainder of his time is largely spent coaching his boys in hockey and leading them on wilderness adventures on his dirt bike. When not playing hockey or stockpiling ammunition, Jason enjoys shamelessly embellishing the exploits of his government service in outlandish sermon illustrations. Jason writes stories of intrigue and redemption to inspire others to surrender to God’s call of service and adventure on their lives.
