Shastina Gray

A former researcher and programmer analyst, author Shastina Gray is now pursuing more artistic, creative ventures. She writes historical fiction. She grew up near the shores of Lake Michigan in the Midwestern US. Retired, she currently resides near the beautiful Cascade Mountains of the Pacific Northwest. It is from a prominent peak in these mountains, Mt. Shasta, that she derives her pen name.

She loves including Native American characters, symbolism, and legends in her books, for her great aunt was a full-blooded Oneida Indian.

When not pursuing her favorite pastimes of reading mysteries, romance, and westerns, she can be found watching retro TV shows on DVD with her joke-telling husband of many years.

Shastina's books contain little-to-no sex, swearing, or violence.
