Samantha Ray

Samantha Ray is a romantic at heart. Married to her heroic husband for twenty years, she is a firm believer in chivalry and enduring passion. Samantha’s appreciation for her family and the majestic outdoors is reflected in her writing. Initially beginning Even When You Can't See Me in a pocket-sized notebook for her own pleasure, her story materialized and grew. As her plot developed and characters were born, she compiled her notebooks into a manuscript and gave her work a title. It was after her father and mother-in-law read her “book” and encouraged her to publish her story that she decided to share her writing.

Samantha’s fond memories of her two horses is evident in her characters’ love and respect for for their animals. The dangers she experienced while working nearly twenty years in security that included helping a fellow officer detain a fleeing murder suspect and responding to dangerous calls further inspired her story line. The comradery and relationships portrayed through her fictional heroes is a testament to the incredible people who have touched her life.
