Keith Coleman has an MA in Celto-Roman Studies from the University of Wales, Newport. He has written previously about lesser-known aspects of Scottish kings. His most recent books are The Last Jacobites (Pen & Sword Books, 2024), James I: the King Who United Scotland and England (Pen & Sword Books, 2023) and Aedán of the Gaels: King of Scots (Pen & Sword Books, 2022). He is also the author of The Afterlife of Kings James IV, Otherworld Legends of A Scottish King (Chronos Books, 2019) and maintains several blogs about the legends and history of Scottish kings and on the folklore and History on the historic county of Angus. His forthcoming book examines the wizards, warlocks and magicians in Scottish history.
