Ethan Holmes

Originally from South Carolina, I went into the military at 19. 18 months later, I graduated from the US Navy EOD school (NAVSCOLEOD). I became a Sergeant in 2010 shortly after my deployment to Iraq ended. During my enlistment, I fell in love with my wife, Stephanie, and we were married in 2011. Shortly after getting married, I injured my lower back in the bomb suit and was forced into a medical retirement. For a few years, I could barely walk. To keep myself from going insane, I began to write. Needless to say, it did not come naturally. My first book is a culmination of four years worth of work. I would not say that I am a well educated man and spent a long span of time making corrections in the book, with the help of my wife. We now live somewhat comfortably in Kansas City.
