Born in Jamaica in 1949, Leonard E. Anderson hails from the parish of Hanover. The son of Hepburn and Eleanor Anderson, he grew up in a family of eight boys and two girls.
Leonard started elementary school when he was about seven years old, but stayed in school for only three years. Although a fast learner, circumstances dwarfed his educational status. Despite the scarcity of resources, however, he continued to learn about God and His precepts from Scripture. Anderson soon realized that this was the ideal school for him, for it was here where he learnt about Jesus and His great love for mankind.
Leonard would come to read the Bible more than any other book. From the teachings of God’s word, and despite having spent only three years in the formal education system, he could relate to many subjects, not the least of which is Marriage. A member of the Seventh-day Adventist church for over 50 years, Anderson has been married for over thirty years.
Throughout the course of his lifetime, Leonard E. Anderson has developed a deep and strong philosophy, which says, “Serving others far outweighs the benefits of being served.” This singular notion has driven him to write this book in the hope of helping others to improve their love lives.
