Michael J. Lakey

Michael J. Lakey grew up in County Durham in the North East of England, before reading Theology and Mathematics (U. Liverpool) and undertaking doctoral studies (U. Durham), under the supervision of Revd Dr Stephen Barton. After 11 years as New Testament Tutor at Ripon College Cuddesdon in Oxford and as an associate member of the Oxford Theology and Religion Faculty, Michael relocated to rural Oxfordshire, where he works as a parish priest. His research interests continue to lie in the fields of scripture, hermeneutics and the social sciences.
